In the hereafter, humans are in a state full of difficulties and troubles. There is no protector and no shade that can protects humans, except the protection and shade from Allah ‘azza wa jalla. Who are the people who will get that shade?
In a hadith from Abu Hurairah (may Allah blesses him), that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) says,
“There are seven people Allah will give them His Shade. On the Day when there would be no shade but the Shade of His Throne (on the Hereafter). They are: a just ruler. a youth who grew up with the worship of Allah. a person whose heart is attached to the masjid. two men who love and meet each other and depart from each other for the sake of Allah. a man whom an extremely beautiful woman seduces (for illicit relation), but he (rejects this offer and) says: ‘I fear Allah’. a man who gives in charity and conceals it (to such an extent) that the left hand does not know what the right has given. and a man who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes become tearful” [al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Mashallah! Seven people that will get Allah’s shade in Here after are:
- The ruler who rules people with justice
- The youth who spends his time with ibadah (worshipping Allah)
- The person whose heart is attached with masjid
- People those loving each other for the sake of Allah
- The gentleman who fears zina (adultery)
- People those giving with sincerity
- And, the person who cries when remembering Allah
May Allah guides us to be one of them!
