If you think that when someone become a Muslim believer, then his life will be easy and flawless. Then, you are wrong.
Allah ﷻ says,
“Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: ‘We believe,’ and will not be tested. And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allah knows all that before putting them to test)” [al-‘Ankabut 29:2-3].
Every muslims and believers will ahead tests from Allah until they die. And that tests will eliminate their sins if they can pass the tests well.
A hadith from Abu Huraira (may Allah blesses him), that the Prophet says:
“Affliction will continue to trouble the believers, men and women, in their bodies, their families, and their property until they meet Allah Almighty purified of every wrong action” [Ahmad, and Al Albani says that this hadith is saheeh].
So, be tough and patient. Pass all the tests well. Then you are good to go.
