Part of your duty, as parent, is to bring your children up from a young age to love Allah. And to love His Messenger. Also, to love the teachings of Islam. Including teaching them the urge to salah (prayer).
Allah ﷻ says,
❝And enjoin as-Salah (the prayer) on your family, and be patient in offering them (i.e. the Salah).❞ [Taha 20:132].
The Prophet -peace be upon him- also says,
“Command your children to perform Salat (prayer) when they are seven years old, and beat them for (not offering) it when they are ten, and do not let (boys and girls) sleep together” [Abu Daud. And, an Nawawi says this hadith is hasan].
